These artworks embody the physical and mental survival of the artists, which has been intimately connected to the changing landscape and the rebuilding of their lives and communities. From the Fire features a number of professional artists working across a range of media, as well as artworks made by children from Yarra Glen Primary School in the weeks, months and years following the fires. Artists include Julie Goodwin, Werner Theinert, Ursula Theinhurt, Cornelia Selover, Louise Foletta, Bernadette Healy and Kate Zizys coupled with works created by primary school students from Yarra Glen Primary School.
